This is a script I am using in some of my mods that converts the Dimension ID block string to something that can be used with File Manager for properties or the file name or folder name.

Using The Colon Instead

You can remove the block just after the repeat block if you need to use the ':' instead.
This will make the output look like below.
Keep in mind that colons are not compatible with file, folder or properties names in File Manager.
But this can be handy when working with commands that require you to use namespaces like below.

minecraft:the_nether

What To Do

1. Make a new procedure without any trigger.
2. Import the procedure and link it to the green block.
3. Save the procedure.
4. Under the advanced tab get the block that says. "Call procedure and get return value" for the string.
5. Add the block above to a local variable in the procedure you need the name for.
6. Use the variable where you need it in your procedure.
